Monte Palm Beach

This is a 10/10 location and walking out of a garden room to that view is incredible - some of the staff - reception, guy who helped with bags and waiter on Saturday but….. beware if you wonder why it’s rated so low comparing the images let me explain from our experience….

The noise from the beach club was constant during the day bearable for sure from the garden room but not if closer. A wedding on the Sunday made it feel like we weren’t important… that’s mentioned before and it’s true. The breakfast was shockingly bad! I’d go as far as to say disgusting. Flies everywhere- hot foods were stone cold - coffee machine broken - no seats and no staff - all busy on wedding prep. It doesn’t make sense at all - for a location it really couldn’t get much more scenic and we initially thought we would come back time and time again but very badly let down and poorly managed in this regard. So instead of coming back year and year- encouraging our friends and family to do the same - we are let down and complaining about it here to help others avoid it. A real shame …. Save your money and go elsewhere Siro in the port shows them how to do it well .. until they fix the basics and remember what high end hospitality is and and turn it back into a dream location don’t go.

Great location with expansive, amazing views of the sea and mountains of the Tivat and Kotor region. Just a few minutes drive to the Tivat airport. Very clear ocean water and large, protected swim area. Private pool access for villa renters. Excellent restaurant with wonderful food and service. Very friendly, courteous, and helpful staff.

Very loud music plays at one of the pools many hours of the day. There are a significant number of steps up and down to get to certain areas that elevators cannot access.

The location, the setting and potential of the hotel were good.

In transition from Nikki Beach Club to a Hotel. Seriously understaffed consequently poor service, scruffy/untidy areas with food plates/glasses/wine buckets left for 48 hours. Hosting weddings which were prioritised over hotel guests so no restaurants or bar area for hotel guests. Due to late night weddings the breakfast area was not prepared, left untidy, the breakfast food was non existent, it was not replenished, no service, hard to tell who was working, who was in charge. The complimentary boat only runs at 6 pm weather permitting, not regularly and taxi's are expensive. TV not working. Room servicing was hit and miss, sometimes we got water and sometimes coffee pods, nothing in the minibar. Luckily we only stayed for 4 nights. It needs to drop 2 stars.
