Cuddy Point on Scalpay is a wonderful place to spend holidays. My teenage children and I took the ferry to Uist, hiked up Mount Clisham and took the Golden Route multiple times. Even the drive from Tarbert to Scalpay is beautiful. We saw our first eagle there. The house has a cozy living room, good beds and a brand-new washing machine plus tumble dryer.
If I may mention two negative things, the house was a little cold at times and the kitchen stove does not generate a lot of heat e.g. to fry a steak. Nothing however that made our stay unpleasant or that we could not adapt to.

The mattress was too soft for myself and partner although I guess that this is a preference thing

The shower and the view were eexceptional
Only one toilet in the property and it was upstairs in the bathroom. No garden even though a garden was mentioned in one of the messsges. All there was was a small concrete area. No dishwasher.
