Great City apartment next to many of the sites of interest in Rome close to many of the attractions. Lively area near by with plenty of bars and places to eat near by. Great in the summer as it has air-conditioning to escape the heat and hustle and bustle of the city.

We loved everything about this apartment! Yes, there are lots of stairs, but it’s not too bad. The location was amazing. There are so many things to do as soon as you step out the door. The apartment was clean and spacious, and we loved the outdoor area. The only complaint we had was the hot water seems to run out quickly. We solved this by scheduling showers, and showering quickly. Everyone had hot water that way.

The apartment is spacious as shown in the photos. The twin beds were too firm to be comfortable for my sister so she slept on the living room sofa. The apartment was clean but the glasses, pots and pans were not usable unless we washed them first. Either the previous guests didn’t wash them after using, or the cleaners didn’t check them. Our host, Ginevra graciously gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy and we did, but only after scrubbing lip and finger prints off 2 wine glasses. As noted by previous guests, there are a LOT of steps. Especially difficult if you are carrying luggage. Our host arranged a car from FCO to apartment and back — the service was excellent. Picked up 1 sister who flew out our first night at the restaurant she booked for us — and the female driver was a welcome site since it was at 2200 and she was traveling alone. Grazie, Ginnie!

We had an extended stay, for 35 days. The apartment looked even bigger that the pictures on the website. We were able to walk everywhere for our total time, all the major historical sites are within a one mile radius. the apartment does not have an elevator and there are 60 steps to climb, but we felt that prepared us for our month of walking everywhere in Rome. The hostess Ginevra is also the owner and she is a pleasure to work with. Sometimes she travels so is not available all of the time but we had no issues, with that and it is nice to work directly with the owner.

Our week-long stay in Rome was made more wonderful by staying in this beautiful, roomy apartment. The location is nothing short of a miracle - close to the Pantheon, and walking distance to the Vatican, Trastevere, museums, churches and of course excellent restaurants. We would love to return to Rome and would stay here again.

While I give Ginevra's apartment a deserved 5 stars, there are 2 caveats: there are 63 steps (no lift) to the wonderful apartment, and the twin beds are best suitable for children. She is very caring and helpful. My wife & I would stay again.

We, a family of four, had a great stay in Rome with the apartment being a perfect, calm base for exploration of the city. Easy and friendly check in and out including tips about the neighbourhood. We would love to return.

My family of four (2 adults, 2 small children) really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It’s super central, 2 minutes from the pantheon, and spacious two bedrooms for us. The host, Ginevra, was very responsive and accommodating throughout. Highly recommend to others :).

My spouse, three children (ages 16, 14, 11), and I loved our stay at Count Checco. The tastefully-decorated apartment is in the perfect location very near the Pantheon. The host was extremely helpful; he walked us around the neighborhood to show us restaurants and grocery stores, made a dinner reservation for us, and thoughtfully left us bottled water and wine in the fridge. We loved the breezy terrace where we enjoyed aperitivos every evening before dinner. The air condition in each room worked great and the beds were all comfy. We would definitely stay at Count Checco again.

A very nice and clean apartment situated in the middle of Rome. Everything worked well. Nice welcome from the host and a her helpful daughter. Fantastic to set at the terrace in the warm evening of Rome. We can definitely recommend to stay here.

Not our first visit and hopefully not the last. Somehow Generva and the apartment keeps getting better. There are many stairs but are surprisingly easy to climb but not for anyone with mobility issues. Beautiful apartment and terrace and very quiet despite the central location. All of the recommendations for local restaurants were amazing.

Wonderful location a couple of blocks from the Pantheon! Ginevra was so helpful, and also a great tour guide. The apartment was clean and just as described. We had an awesome vacation.

Location of this apartment is perfect. We walked everywhere.... Pantheon, around the corner, Piazza Navona -10 minutes, Colosseum - 20 mins,Vatican city -30 mins. Ginevra gave us a great welcome and we had organised for her to give us a tour of the area when we arrived which was a perfect start to our trip. I would highly recommend this. The apartment is clean and simple and was just right for our family of four , we felt like we were staying at a friend's place.

Delightful place . All amenities including a small but adequate roof garden. Very clean and comfortable. Everything you need in local supermarket. An abundance of places to eat.

Truly enjoyed ourselves. Didn’t cook at all. Washrooms I had both been recently renovated. Only used the larger shower Other shower was a little tight. Air-conditioning in master was a bit off.... and likely will need replacing but wasn’t an issue during our stay as it was relatively cool for Rome. Owner obviously takes great pride in their place .

We just returned from a 6 night stay at Ginevra's apartment. The apartment is spacious, spotless and well appointed. The proximity to many must see places was a huge bonus. Although located in a high density area, the orientation of the apartment avoided any street noise whatsoever. Excellent restaurants are a short stroll away. Ginevra, who is an author and tour guide, speaks English fluently and was a delight to deal with. She provided many excellent dining recommendations and helpfully arranged transportation from and to the airport with a very knowledgeable and friendly driver. First rate experience. (Note that the apartment is located on the third or fourth floor and may present some difficulties for those guests with mobility issues - certainly not a criticism but merely an FYI)

Owner pays attention to detail and checked on us often to make sure we had everything we need. Beautiful apartment in a wonderful location. Great suggestions of local restaurants. The terrace was beautiful and allowed us a place to relax outside. Hope to stay here again!

(I am resubmitting as I am unsure if my previous post went through) We are a family of five and stayed here in late March, 2019. The apartment is superbly located. It is just a couple minutes walk to the Pantheon, and just a little farther to Piazza Navona. Also, easy walking distance to the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps areas. There are lots of great restaurants and shops (gelato!) in easy walking distance. The owner, Ginevra, is a great guide. We hired her on a couple of different days, and she guided us to colosseum, pantheon, forum, piazzas, etc. She is extremely knowledgable, nice, and her English is excellent. I would recommend hiring her, especially early in your visit to learn about the immediate area. The apartment is nice, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area, and a small terrace. We had two kids in one room and one on the couch in the living area. Overall, we loved staying here. It is a fantastic location and a very nice place to stay. I recommend it. Thanks, Ginevra!

We enjoyed everything about this apartment - it’s location, comfort, and stylish furnishings. We couldn’t have asked for more. And Ginevra was extremely helpful and kind.
