About this apartment rental
Bright, open floor plan with private entrance and free parking nestled in a quiet residential tree lined cul-de-sac in beautiful Marriottsville. This is a private suite in our home with over 900 square feet of space. It includes an efficiency kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, toaster, microwave and hot plate. This suite is a wonderful short term option for professionals & interns.
The suite was built as an addition to our home in 2012. It has a private entrance & includes a large open combined living room/ kitchen area and office which is built over our garage. There is a door between the bedroom and the main house that is locked by the guest.
Guest access
Guest will have full private access to the living area, bedroom and bathroom. One parking spot is allotted for the rental. There is a deck below our main deck that you are welcome to use. It faces the forest and can be wonderful for watching wildlife or just thinking and relaxing.
Washer and Dryer can be accessed upon request.
Tesla charging available.
Verizon provides our internet. It has a strong signal 98% of the time. If you plan to have many business meetings, we’d recommend having a hotspot as a back up plan.

We stayed at the “Large Open Suite nestled among the Trees” for 6 nights/7 days, and it has been wonderful. Elizabeth’s communication was amazing from the start, the directions were easy to follow, and you can tell she has truly thought through every detail to make guests feel comfortable.
The suite is clean, cozy, and welcoming. The wooded surroundings, creek, and small deck sitting area make it feel peaceful and relaxing — truly a hidden gem. I also loved the thoughtful touches like the “In Case You Forgot” box, the coffee bar, local guides and stationery at the desk area, and even the cellphone/watch charger by the bed.
Having laundry access during our stay has been incredibly helpful. And the bed? I melted into it like butter after a long day. Plus, the water pressure is AMAZING.
I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area. Elizabeth has created such a comfortable and intentional space.

Really peaceful, beautiful, and calm area. The interior was just as beautiful and peaceful as the outside. The hosts are very nice and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay.

Property has everything you will need for a stay and some extra goodies in case you forget anything. Liz is a great host she made the stay and process of checking in and out very simple. The property itself and neighborhood are very nice and away from heavily populated areas so if you are looking for a nice getaway vacation place to stay 100% recommend.

Nestled in the woods with great views. Spacious inside, with all the amenities found in a hotel room. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Will be back soon.
