Clean perfect for a night. Bathroom facilities all clean and good working order

Lovely stay, atypical accomodation, here's what to expect: Location: you're not in central London. If your plan is to have a touristy experience, you need to expect 40-50min of transportation each time but buses are numerous and a street corner away. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely, you get all the London experience (nice pubs, cool brunch places, grocery stores, big park) and the view from some of the rooms is gorgeous! Concept: like in a self check-in Airbnb, you arrive on the street and get your keys in a locker: one for the building and one for the room. You're staying in a narrow building, the bedrooms (all private) are on 3 floors with a shared bathroom per floor. The room we had was quite big, furnished with the essentials including a TV and a very comfy bed. This is not a hostel, there is no common room and you won't be interacting with other guests much. Kitchen: there is a pretty functional kitchen available (with a washing machine!) but it is a little odd because there is nowhere to sit there so you have to take your food back to your bedroom to eat. Cleanliness: I saw other reviews complaining about the cleanliness. In our experience, the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens are spotless! I believe the complaints come from the fact that the staircases are narrow and carpeted: there are a lot of marks on the walls because of suitcases and the carpet is stained from people going up and down with food. Bonus point: you get a comprehensive email+text from the staff on your arrival day to explain exactly how to access the place and everything you need to know on your stay.

The shower: on the top floor, the shower takes up the full room in which it is. This makes it impossible to store anything dry and almost impossible to get out of the shower without having to open the door of the corridor. I also had almost no water coming out once (but other showers are accessible).

I booked my stay for just 1 night as I was attending a wedding ceremony close by so the location was spot on and on a busy street so found it safe to get back to late at night.

The walls and doors are not soundproof so you can hear the slightest sounds outside and next door within the building however it didn’t bother me too much as I wore earplugs. I chose a room with shared bathroom so didn’t expect the bathroom to stay clean whilst others are using it so it was fine.

If you are on the front of the building, you’re gonna hear all the traffic but you get what you pay for

Very noisy on the front of the property, it was very hot when we were there so leaving the window open it was very noisy
