I booked this riad right at the beginning of the year after doing a lot of research, as I really wanted to stay somewhere that felt like a traditional Moroccan riad. Before travelling, I re-checked the more recent reviews and noticed some quite concerning comments about the condition and cleanliness, which understandably made me feel a little uneasy.
I contacted the riad with my concerns, and they were helpful in providing videos and photos and reassuring us that everything would be okay.
I brought a group of 13 people and we stayed for two nights, and I’m really pleased to say that every one of us enjoyed our stay. The riad was exactly what I had hoped for - traditional, clean and tidy, with a lovely atmosphere.
We could only find two working showers, although this wasn’t really an issue for our group during our stay.
The location was also good, with the souks within walking distance, making it easy to explore Marrakech.
Breakfast was good, although I am gluten free, so my options were limited to eggs. I simply bought some gluten-free bread from a local Carrefour, so this wasn’t a major issue.
Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and I would recommend this riad, particularly if you’re looking for a traditional Moroccan experience.
The property is advertised as having more showers. We could only find two to use.

Accueilli par Myriam qui a été particulièrement investie et réactive à notre service lors de notre séjour : préparation des petits-déjeuners, repas d'anniversaire, conseils, prise de contact pour les taxis.
Un détail : L'équipement n'est pas en conformité avec ce qui est annoncé. Il est évoqué une télévision avec écran plat, ce qui n'est pas le cas.

Le Riad Sifaw ne serait rien sans l’accueil, la bonté, la générosité, l’amour, la présence, l’organisation, le service et la personne qu’est Meriem. C’est elle qui a fait de notre séjour un moment inoubliable dans ce Riad. Elle se plie en 4 pour nous satisfaire malgré la tonne de travail qu’elle a à faire (cuisine, ménage, massage, courses, accueil…). Bravo à toi Meriem et merci pour tout, tu es une femme exceptionnelle.
Nous avons très bien dormi sur sur cette literie, le lieu a de bonnes ondes.
Point de vue de l’établissement, il y a quelques éléments à reprendre comme des petits travaux d’entretien (serrure de salle de bain branlante, cuvette des toilettes qui ne tient pas…)
En revanche, ne pas se fier aux apparences car le lieu est agréable.
Rapport qualité/prix à revoir à mon sens.
