Really enjoyed my stay there and was warmly welcomed by the family running it. Itās a bit off the main road so you need to search for it, but thatās definitely worth it. Once you arrive, youāll want to stay longer than planned. Spacious rooms as well and the rooftop has sea view!

Phoenix House is a home away from home. It is close enough to the town but still quiet in a beautiful location with a gorgeous view of the sea. The hosts are beautiful people that take care more than just a accommodation. Delicious food, conscious events and a cozy atmosphere. If you want more than just a place to stay but somewhere to feel welcome, safe and taken care of - this is the place to go :)

Absolutely beautiful luxurious house nestled perfectly between the jungle and the sea š Gorgeous views of lush greenery & the beach, you can hear the waves from the ocean while watching sunset from this amazing rooftop!
Rooms are exceptionally clean & comfortable, with fantastic hot showers, good water pressure and thick, fluffy towels (which is not always the case in Sri Lanka!)
The family running this house are genuinely lovely people too, with high standards & attention to detail- the whole house is well decorated with a really cool unique vibe, and the food is good! Nicest place I've stayed in Sri Lanka! I ended up extending my stay of course š

-Certaines chambres que nous avons aperƧues semblaient trĆØs qualitatives (peut-ĆŖtre une question de catĆ©gorie).
-Chambre trĆØs chaude exposĆ©e plein soleil (plus de 30 Ā°C). Climatisation et ventilateur de plafond prĆ©sents mais trĆØs bruyants.
-Pas de rideau sur toutes les fenĆŖtres : le soleil tape directement dans la chambre dĆØs le lever du jour.
-Petit-dĆ©jeuner trĆØs simple (omelette, pain de mie et cafĆ©), loin de ce quāon a habituellement.
-HĆ“tel situĆ© Ć environ 3 km du centre-ville, ce qui nĆ©cessite de prendre un tuk-tuk pour sāy rendre.
