In 2-3 places on the way they should be arrows pointing right directions. Because of flight delay we arrived at night and it was a little complicated to find the house, but still google maps was good till last 200 ft.

The lakeview and breeze on the patio is unmatched! What a lovely place for our weekend stay! Plenty of area, multiple air mattresses for everyone, and pet-friendly accommodation a plus!

The last bits of the hilly road up to the property is unpaved and narrow so be prepared for that stretch but totally worth it once you get up there:)

Loved the proximity to the Lake and Kern River rafting. Squirrels and deer daily visits to the property. Spacious home with lots of bedding options. The views are spectacular and well worth the steep drive up. Hosts were accommodating and responsive. Very clean and packed with lots of essentials.

Around 4am the carbon monoxide alarm went off. Scary moment since we had the kids sleeping across the living room and worst fears went through our minds until they woke up and we stepped out of the house. Really dangerous situation. Fortunately the house was equipped with the alarm that woke us up (10 points for that! ). Carbon monoxide is no joke! Not the most relaxing night of our trip. The road to the property is not the best (unpaved, steep and narrow) but still doable. We arrived through a road cutting through mountains in very bad conditions and drove through some areas that were not particularly nice, with abandoned cars and not that picturesque. There are birds attacking the furniture in the front porch. When we arrived cushions of sofas were damaged and dirty with bird poop. There was inner couch material around the terrace which gave a bit of a not clean entrance (only outside. Inside the house was impeccable).
