Hus Skärgården – Holiday Home Directly on the Baltic Sea with Sauna and Motorboat in Småland

Welcome to Hus Skärgården, a special holiday home directly on the Swedish Baltic coast near Figeholm. Surrounded by the typical archipelago landscape and with direct access to the sea, you can spend your Swedish holiday among small islands, rocks and water. The peaceful setting, private boat jetty and views across the Baltic Sea make this a wonderful retreat for anyone who wants to experience Sweden right by the water.

Hus Skärgården was completely newly furnished in 2025 and accommodates up to 6 guests. The sleeping arrangements are divided between the main house and a separate small guest cottage.

The main house has two separate bedrooms, each with a double bed. The beds and mattresses were newly purchased in 2025. Two additional guests can sleep in the separate guest cottage on the property. The cottage provides sleeping accommodation for two people but does not have its own bathroom.

The cosy living area is the perfect place to relax after a day by the sea. On cooler evenings, the fireplace creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere and adds to the traditional Swedish holiday-home experience. One basket of firewood is included. A TV is also available.

Thanks to Starlink internet, the holiday home offers fast Wi-Fi despite its peaceful, natural setting. A modern air-source heat pump ensures comfortable temperatures inside the house.

The kitchen is fully equipped for a comfortable self-catering stay. Facilities include a dishwasher, stove and oven.

The real highlight of Hus Skärgården awaits outside: the holiday home is located directly on the Baltic Sea in the middle of the Swedish archipelago. From the property, you can enjoy views across the water and spend your holiday just steps away from the sea.

Directly by the boat jetty, you will find the sauna overlooking the Baltic Sea. After a day on the water, you can relax in the warmth of the sauna before ending the evening by the sea.

From April to October, a motorboat is included for exploring the surrounding archipelago. This gives you the opportunity to discover the coastal landscape around Figeholm from the water and explore small islands and bays at your own pace. An additional security deposit is required for the motorboat.

A SUP board is also available. You can head straight out onto the water from the property, go paddling, swimming or simply spend a relaxing day by the boat jetty. The location directly on the Baltic Sea also offers interesting opportunities for anglers.

The area around Figeholm is one of Småland’s beautiful coastal regions. Small islands, sheltered bays, rocky shores and traditional coastal villages shape the landscape and make the area particularly attractive for anyone who loves the sea and nature.

A lovely day trip takes you to Oskarshamn, where you can explore the harbour, visit restaurants and cafés or take further excursions into the archipelago.

Further north, Västervik is also well worth a visit. This popular coastal town offers a lively harbour, shops, restaurants and numerous opportunities to explore the surrounding archipelago during the summer months.

If you would like to discover more of the Baltic Sea’s island landscape, you can visit Hasselö or Idö. The Norra Uvö peninsula also offers beautiful opportunities for hiking and enjoying the coastal scenery.

Hus Skärgården is particularly suitable for guests who want to spend an active holiday by the water. Boating, fishing, SUP, swimming and exploring the archipelago all begin practically on your doorstep.

Your dog can also join you on your Swedish holiday and is welcome at Hus Skärgården.

Professional final cleaning is included in the rental price. One basket of firewood for the fireplace is also included. The motorboat is available from April to October and is included in the rental price. An additional security deposit is required for use of the boat.
