The riverside location, peaceful vibe, warm hospitality, and delicious food were the best parts of the stay. I visited for my birthday, and the place was perfect for a special and relaxing celebration. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and made the stay feel very comfortable and homely.

A unique stay right in the buffer zone of the Great Himalayan National Park, which is easily its biggest USP.
The mountain-view double room is absolutely worth it, with beautiful views and a peaceful setting. We ended up having most of our meals at the property itself, and everything we tried was fresh and very good in taste.
What makes this place special is its access to GHNP. Unlike most tourist destinations, there isn't a checklist of attractions here, no instant pay-off. No viewpoints to tick off, no crowds to chase, no dramatic landscape, no drive to viewpoint, click photo, leave. Just forests, rivers, trails, birds, and the freedom to create your own experience. Walk, sit by a river, explore a trail, or simply do nothing at all.
Our visit coincided with election season in Tirthan, so the staff was understandably a bit occupied at times. Even so, the overall experience felt raw, authentic, and wonderfully connected to nature.
