I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay at Marina Residence 3BR Shores Haven nr Midvalley CIQ by Our Stay was extremely disappointing and far below basic hospitality standards.
The unit itself also had safety and cleanliness issues. Check in should be at 3pm after we check in the house were in mass. No one cleared yet after 4.30pm one staff came and clean the house . never change the bedsheets and pillow cases and blankets.. very bad smells and we need to put our towels on pillows and sleep.
At first insist for deposit regarding the collection of the security deposit. The refund process has been extremely poor and unprofessional. I checked out on Monday on 15/6 and was informed that the refund would be processed within 48 working hours. However, it is already 3 weeks and I still have not received the refund or any proper update regarding, did message many times .. I find it a scam

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay at Marina Residence 3BR Shores Haven nr Midvalley CIQ by Our Stay was extremely disappointing and far below basic hospitality standards.
First, the communication from the management was very rude and unprofessional. Instead of making guests feel welcomed, the responses felt cold, unfriendly, and poorly handled. Customer service is one of the most important parts of the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, this place failed badly in that aspect.
The unit itself also had safety and cleanliness issues. There was a broken chair in the house, and luckily, none of us sat on it because it could have caused an accident or injury. Basic inspection and maintenance should have been done before allowing guests to check in.
On top of that, there were no proper instructions or clear guidance on how to use the facilities provided. Guests are left figuring things out themselves, which creates unnecessary frustration.
Another major issue was the cleanliness and preparation of the amenities. The towel provided had a very unpleasant smell, which is unacceptable for any accommodation. Thankfully, I brought my own body shampoo and personal items; the experience would have been even worse.
There was also no clear information regarding the collection of the security deposit. The refund process has been extremely poor and unprofessional. I checked out on Sunday and was informed that the refund would be processed within 48 working hours. However, it is already Tuesday, and I still have not received the refund or any proper update regarding the status.
Overall, this was not a comfortable or welcoming stay. The management seriously needs to improve their hospitality, maintenance, cleanliness, communication standards, and refund handling process.
