Great place and property. Simple, small but nice rooms. Good kitchen though only equipped with the very basics. Good heating and water pressure.
No compost bin (all organic waste goes into the general waste), almost no cooking utensils, too few large pots, pans etc in good condition, just 1 jug, too few cutting boards etc. if you actually wanted to cook and cater for a larger group bring your own staff that you need.

Very spacious and comfortable for 8 adults spanning 3 generations. The large dining/ kitchen was great for 8 or more.
The house was cosy despite the outside weather being cold and windy.
The showers all worked well.
The house was spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished and decorated.
The welcome pack included bread, milk and other Orkney treats, which was a nice start to our stay.
Communication with the owners was very easy and they replied promptly.
The views from the house were wonderful and there was plenty of outside space for garden games ( if the weather allows).

The house was very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. It was great to have a large kitchen for cooking and a beautiful view of the water. We also really loved the adorable lambs and bunnies and goats. Lesley and Greig were very kind and we’d definitely stay there again.
