Shabby apartment in a great location

The location is fantastic. Getting into the apartment was straightforward. And the apartment sleeps 5 or even 6 comfortably,

The internet did not work and there was no response from the landlord. A problem as there is no 4G in the apartment (anyway on my network). Also the apartment smells of stale smoke, Also only one toilet and one shower.

2 / 10

Extremely quiet and great location but dirty and very poorly maintained.

The property was in an excellent location and extremely quiet for being in the heart of a large city. Was good to have 2 separate bedrooms.

Property was somewhat dirty and very poorly maintained. Floors didn't seem to have been swept and spare linens, sheets, etc. had been balled up and stuffed into closet without being folded (because of this we weren't sure if they had been cleaned). The layout is pretty strange as well. The toilet is separate from the bathroom and has 2 water pipes just above it so taller guys need to hunch over to use it. The toilet is also VERY small. Items in the kitchen (flatware, dishes, etc. ) were a hodge podge that looked like they'd been purchased at various rummage sales. Paint was peeling from the walls in several areas and the plaster on one of the walls was pretty severely cracked. There was also alot of unnecessary furniture in the place which made it feel somewhat cramped. The handle of the door to acess the apartment kept falling off. A shame really as a small amount spent on updating this property and a thourough cleaning would really make a very large difference.
