We loved the location, such an amazing scenic place and a beautiful homestead with great rustic charm. We loved how everything was provided for us from the pantry items (our daughter especially loved the box of chocolates and the coffee machine to make hot chocolates) to the kayaks and fishing gear. We loved our visits from buddy the dog, the kangaroos and birds. We loved how private and secluded the location is but also not too far from the supermarket and other shops, playgrounds etc. Communication with the host was excellent. We knew exactly where to go and what to do when vacating the homestead.
The only thing we didn't like was having to leave and not staying longer...... hopefully next time.

Our host provided a very clean, very well appointed cottage albeit a century+ old building in a relatively remote private location. Unfortunately the daily temperature during our stay was up to 42>43⁰C but the old house was air conditioned and very comfortable. Whilst we are familiar with the quieter regions of South Australia together with the vegetation and wildlife it would be an opportunity for overseas or city folk to experience a unique South Australian getaway
We would recommend the host maybe utilising a car cam video or a series of photos to explain the last kilometre of the entry drive as Google maps fail at the end of the bitumen road. This may be especially useful at night or wet weather and for drivers mainly used to city roads
