This cottage was beautiful and the location was awesome. Stunning views of the lake. There are some basic things that would have made the week more pleasant. The coffee maker leaked everywhere and needs to be upgraded. The kettle also needs replacing, it took forever to boil. There is a ceiling fan right over the ladder on the bunk beds, it’s not safe at all if you have young kids. We couldn’t use that bed because my child kept hitting their head on the light getting in and out of bed. The queen bed has a double topper making it essentially a double bed. And the actual double bed saga between the supports, it should have slats or a box spring and was very uncomfortable. There’s no screen door leading to the deck or windows that open in that area which made it very hot. Overall it was a beautiful space but needs upgrades.

Beautiful view of the lake. Good layout and comfy living area but things are quite old and there is a musty smell that permeated all our clothes.
