Beautiful local location - not in a touristy area, right on the beach (lovely beach with no stingers). Local life going on around you. Bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. PJ is always on hand to help with anything you need - and always with a smile. Hiring a car made it easier to come and go (you can park inside the property). Kitchenette was good enough to prepare simple meals. In low season, not much is open on the beach front.
We weren’t expecting the showers to be cold (no hot water option) and wished that was made clear when we were booking (cold showers in a hot place is fine, if you’re expecting it), the aircon doesn’t really work and sounds like a tractor (couldn’t manage in the peak of summer).

Perfect getaway from all the tourists and hustle! As stated, the property is a little bit further from the main towns like El Nido - approximately 40-45 min on scooter (35-40 by car). But for us it was advantage. Not a lot of tourists, only local fishermen village:)
You live basically on the beach which is quite nice. There are several local caffes for food and drinks - nearest just over the fence (see the photo with coffee). Good food:) if you need some drinks - host has bar, from which you can buy them.
All in all - if you like peace, quite nature, don't need city rush, this could be the perfect place:)
Though we were very happy that we got the house (1 out of 3) which was nearest to the beach 😊
Have in mind - no hot water in the shower. And - last 15min of road is gravel/dirt, so be careful if you go by scooter. But it's just slower, not impassable.

This property located at Bucana Beach is very peaceful and away from the more touristy beaches in the El Nido area. If you’re looking for quiet and relaxation this is the place. There is no restaurant but you have a small kitchen in each room to prepare if you want. We opted for close local restaurants. The one directly beside will even deliver your meal to your room.

By the ocean! The owner of the property is nice.
The way going to the place is horrible! Rough road and slippery when it rains! Although we booked for 5 nights, we only stayed for a night and moved to another hotel/villa! Limited places to eat as well, too far away from El Nido town!
