A perfect accommodation to experience the vibe of Hongdae.
The location was excellent with easy walking access to subway stations, cafes, restaurants, and shopping areas.
The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with a warm atmosphere.
Self check-in was easy and the host’s instructions were very clear and helpful.
Great place for couples, friends, and international travelers visiting Seoul.

The apartment is located close to Mangwon subway station and the airport bus, so public transportation was easy and convenient to use. There are a lot of restaurants (both western and Korean), coffee shops, bakeries and convenience stores around the accommodation.
There were no huge issues, but a lot of small ones piling up to really impact our impression of the apartment and its hosts. Initial communication was slow and happened fully in Korean, which could be burdensome to some tourists. On the day of our check-in, hosts sent us a message with the wrong password for the entrance, so we got locked out of the apartment for a while. The room is on the second floor but there is no elevator, and the staircase was so narrow that it was relatively difficult to move our luggage up and down. The apartment is located right above a restaurant that is open until 2am, which means that we had to deal with tipsy, loud customers in the corridor (public restroom is right below the apartment). The entrance to the building is easily blocked by cars in the evening, so we had some trouble entering the building (had to step over trash piles in a very narrow space, constantly trying not to scratch the parked car). The bathroom was constantly slightly wet because sewage / drain water kept coming back all throughout the day. The room generally could've been cleaner. Beds were hard and uncomfortable, with springs easily poking us when lying down or sitting in the bed. Overall, although the apartment had a decent size and fulfilled our immediate needs, we will not be staying here again.
