Exceptional stay with outstanding serviceI spent 10 days at Wils Hotel Supreme in April, and it was a wonderful experience.The rooms were absolutely spotlessly clean and luxurious. The reception staff was incredibly helpful, always friendly, and ready to assist with travel tips or recommendations.The absolute highlight of my stay was the breakfast. The meals were opulent and delicious. Moreover, the chef often came out to greet the guests, and the staff served everything with the most wonderful smile.I travel frequently and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lusaka.

Delightful staff. Erratic Wifi. Even more erratic hot water in the shower. The breakfast was OK. Not too much that you can do to mess up an omelette. Coffee and tea good. The pastries were not very good. Having said that, I stayed in 5 hotels in Zambia over a three week period. None of them had an interesting or particularly good breakfast. Even the fruit wasn't particularly good. The hotel is near several excellent Indian restaurants. I did not travel to Central Africa in search of Indian food, but it turned out that the Indian food was far more interesting and spicy than any other cuisine available.
This and the protea restaurants are just too expensive for Zambia, without offering anything with local color or character. If you can figure out what neighborhood you would like to stay in, save yourself some money and find a "Lodge".
