Their rooms are quite spacious. The room with outdoor balcony has a different feel altogether.

The hotel is very new, beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. Our room was beautiful, with a really high standard of finish. The pool area was also lovely, and although the pool was mostly in the shade, we actually didn’t mind this given how hot it was during our stay. We also loved the gym, which had fantastic facilities and was a real bonus. A special mention to Nikita at the pool café, who was absolutely lovely, as were the men working outside the hotel. They were incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. Vagator itself has some fantastic food options if you venture away from the immediate hotel area, and we really enjoyed exploring Chapora.
Unfortunately, we felt the hotel was expensive for what it offered, particularly compared with other places in Goa.
Breakfast wasn’t included and was an additional 1,000 rupees per person, which we felt was very expensive. We also chose not to eat in the hotel restaurant as the prices seemed excessive and the restaurant was often very quiet. We found the amount of AI-generated content used in the hotel’s online presence quite distasteful too.
One of our biggest frustrations was the cost of transport. The hotel quoted us 800 rupees for a journey that was only around five minutes, which felt completely unreasonable and made getting around difficult. Overall, we felt there was a real sense of overcharging for taxis in the area.
The hotel is clearly very new and has the potential to be great, but it still seems to have some teething issues when it comes to atmosphere and pricing. For the price, we expected a much better overall experience.
