Arrival gift was a lovely touch. Everything you would need from a self catering property was provide. Very quiet secluded spot, but only a short drive to a wide selection of beaches.

Willows Lodge, Buckland Park, Bantham. We stayed for two weeks in this lovely two bed roomed lodge. Very comfortable for a couple and two children or like us three adults. The lodge is well equipped with bedding, towels, tea towels, oven glove, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, cleaning supplies etc. it has a washing machine which was very handy. The enclosed garden and veranda were well used by my mum and the two dogs. My bird watcher dad enjoyed the bird box and feeders. You do need to drive if you want to go anywhere but this lodge is in a good location for beaches, pubs and shopping. If you are bringing dogs then please be aware there is no separate dog walking areas other than the garden. The valley the lodge is in is beautiful, super peaceful and lots of wildlife and cow and calf watching.
The drive down from the main Bantham beach road is quite steep and a single track (welcome to Devon ;) ). The road in front of the holiday lodges is also single track so you need to be confident with reversing. The lodge its self has a parking spot and turning space, we had two cars but I would suggest this lodge is best fit one car only.

Beautiful and peacful location. Lots of wildlfe and cows (incl birds) to admire! Cabin is compact but has all the facilities. Excellent for pets. Near to all the best beaches.
