Loved this place and would definitely stay again. I thought it was a good price for what we got. Lovely furnishings and amazing balcony and view. Comfy bed. All round really fantastic. Amazing / friendly support on the phone if there are any problems. Very efficient air con.
A few small details would make this perfect (it is already super). Difficult to close and lock the apartment door (also front door was rarely closed so slight security risk). Maybe a lock on the bathroom door. A dirty glass on arrival and broken pepper mill were unfortunate but would not stop me returning.

The biggest advantage of Limehome Almeria Hernan Cortes is its central location in Almería's old town. Many attractions, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance, and the price we paid for a short stay was good value. The studio itself is modern and offers the basic amenities needed for a city break.
Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. Before arrival, we specifically contacted the host to request a room that was not on the ground floor. Despite this, we were assigned a ground-floor studio. After raising the issue, we were informed that this room category is located on the ground floor and that no alternative could be offered.
The lack of privacy was a major concern. People were constantly walking past the window, and it was common to have pedestrians, groups, and even people smoking directly outside. As a result, the curtains had to remain closed almost all the time, which made the apartment feel dark and enclosed. Street noise continued throughout the day and night, and earplugs were provided as a solution, which in itself says a lot about the noise levels.
We were also disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment. After sharing photos of several issues, the response was simply an apology that our expectations had not been met. We would have preferred to see a stronger commitment to quality standards rather than only receiving apologies.
There were also maintenance issues. The hairdryer was damaged and unsafe to use, while the shower head was leaking heavily. To their credit, the shower head was replaced the following day after we reported it.
Communication was handled through a remote customer service team rather than an on-site host. This often felt impersonal and sometimes confusing. While the staff frequently apologized for issues, there was often limited follow-up action or evidence that guest concerns were being fully addressed.
The beach is a bit far (45 minutes walk) if you stay here for the beach.
