Amazing week spent at the Sanctuary. Everything was top class. The staff are extremely kind and professional and the owners Dean and Jenna really went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience. No request was too big or small and they truly made us feel welcome.
I would recommend the Sanctuary to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds and truly relax in paradise.
The room and premises were classy with a well thought out design and had a real authentic beach house feel, waking up to the sights and sounds of the sea was an amazing experience.

Amazing resort. Jenna and Dean were the perfect hosts. The service was impeccable. Great staff. If there was such a place called paradise. The Sanctuary is it! The rooms were perfectly curated. We wanted fresh fish and they made us choose what the fishermen just caught in the morning and cooked it the way we wanted it cooked. They spoilt us!
They recommended the tour guide Lito who was also awesome!
We were 6 friends on this trip and they all made it so memorable. We WILL be back...

The property is located on a nice beach, the staff is friendly and supports with arranging travel to and from the accommodation. You can rent a scooter (650 pesos).
The rooms are not soundproof so if there are loud people outside at the bar with music on, it will keep you up. I did not expect that there would be a loud “party” that went on well beyond 1am. For a place so far away from everything I had expected/hoped it to be more quiet. I also think it should be clear on Booking that this is the vibe, as then I would not have booked this as it is like staying in a party hostel only more expensive. I was happy I only had to stay for 1 night.
The room is also quite basic, with simple bed and single bed sheets as blankets. Combined with the music, you are better off booking a nice hostel.
Also keep in mind that it is very far away from basically everything (also Napcan and Duli Beach), and that the road to the Sanctuary is challenging and this makes it a bit of a hassle to go anywhere.
