Pegs Place was fabulous. Beautifully decorated and equipped. Extremely near to Bowness and Windermere with the added bonus of private parking. Would definitely book again.
Parking was a bit of a challenge..best to drive in and reverse out of the lane (as instructed by the owners). Not so difficult after you've done it once! Spiral staircase wouldn't suit everyone but makes the best use of the space.

The location and the on site parking.
All the equipment in the kitchen is of a high quality.
It was very clean.
The bathroom needs updating.
The mattress was uncomfortable.

Property was well equipped .
Nice decor . Nice Bathroom
A lot smaller than it looks in the pictures . The winding staircase in my opinion is dangerous and way too narrow for an average size person plus it feels rickety . Not great having to navigate each time you need to go to the loo or get something from the bedroom . Carrying baggage up there is a challenge .
I kept slipping off the leather sofa as it had those cushion seats that slot in and out . It’s very dark , hardly any natural light and we went on a sunny weekend .
The bath plug was bunged up with lots of long dark hairs to which the water wouldn’t go down after a shower . We didn’t touch them so had to have the plug slightly pulled out in order for the water to go down .
It says the driveway will take a 5 metre in length car . Ours was just under that and it was tight leaving no other room to move .
I’m pointing all this out due to how much we paid for two nights . If we had paid half that amount I wouldn’t have expected anymore than we got .
A few years ago we paid the same amount on Craig walk for a 3 bedroom two bath large property . I was aware it was one bedroom but didn’t think it would be as tiny as it is . It was difficult to live there as it was so cramped . Anyone taking a dog make sure it’s a tiny one and take a crate in order they don’t try to climb that staircase as I do think it’s a safety hazard .
I wouldn’t return it was not worth the money and we left feeling disappointed and annoyed that we had spent that much on it .
