The location is really hard to beat. Walking around the lake filled with beautiful fish in the evening has something to it. And also, I was expecting to see some rundown old cottage, but the room was very clean and with a nice, big bathtub.
Its expensive (I get it, its on transfagarasha), which is ok, there is nothing else around. But the solo beds are incredibly narrow - hard to sleep on them. Queen size twin bed would be much much better.

Die Unterkunft liegt hervorragend direkt am See an der Transfăgărășan und ist für eine Übernachtung auf der Strecke sehr gut geeignet. Die Zimmer und die Ausstattung sind allerdings schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen.
Für mich war trotzdem alles völlig ausreichend, und vor allem die besondere Lage macht die Unterkunft attraktiv.
Insgesamt daher faire und realistische 7 von 10 Punkten und für eine Übernachtung auf der Transfăgărășan durchaus empfehlenswert.
Nichts wirklich Negatives – man merkt der Unterkunft lediglich an, dass Zimmer und Ausstattung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind.

The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. The room was well-appointed and quiet. The location is amazing!
The food was only okay; the grilled chicken was very dry and over cooked. The head waiter was surly and did not care, but other wait staff were friendly.
