About this apartment rental
Our studio is in our garden which people describe as a hidden oasis in central Nelson, with CBD only a 5 minute walk away. It is private and comfortable, bright and sunny and is a perfect place to relax and chill after a day out exploring this beautiful part of New Zealand.
The studio is newly renovated and self contained with a kitchenette, queen bed and a single bed in an attic space which is suitable for a child and for some adults (see pic of stairs). There is a dining space and comfortable sofa. The bathroom has a shower and heated floor. The French doors lead out to a patio. The garden is shared and we respect the privacy of our guests. We grow flowers, vegetables and fruit trees which are pollinated by our bees and fertilized by the castings from our worms! Onsite parking for small/medium cars as well as street parking. Entrance is through a wood working workshop.

Ann is a lovely host and the unit is thoughtfully appointed and architecturally interesting. The back garden is lovely. We enjoyed our stay in this backyard retreat very close to the city center.

Anne gave us such a warm welcome. It’s a lovely place to stay with all the amenities you’ll need. It’s so peaceful being in her back garden, we slept like roses.Anne clearly takes great care and I would go back anytime whenever I’m in Nelson.Thanks Anne, for sharing your space and the lovely chats. It was a pleasure to show my mom what hospitality means in New Zealand.

We loved our time at Anne’s studio! The garden is beautiful, and the location is so peaceful. The studio is super cool and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Anne was very communicative, which was much appreciated. Thank you!

Anne's 'secret garden' apartment provides comfortable accommodation for 2 guests (with a quirky loft for a third). It has been thoughtfully fitted out and updated. Breakfast was fulsome and most welcome. The centre of Nelson is but a short (15-20 min) walk away.Highly recommended.
