Welcome to The Oaks, our cozy farmhouse built in 1920. This freshly renovated farmhouse has a very cozy and cabin-like feel to it, with all of the beautiful hardwood floors and rustic Oak barn-wood furniture throughout! Centrally located in Amish Country, your stay is minutes from Winesburg, Berlin, and Walnut Creek, OH. Soak in the hot tub and enjoy the scenic countryside views or sip a fresh cup of coffee on our spacious back deck. We are committed to making your stay relaxing and memorable!

SLEEPING SPACE:
We have cozy sleeping arrangements for 4 guests.

Bedroom 2: Full Bedroom Suite
Guests will need to walk through Bedroom 1 to get to Bedroom 2.
KITCHEN:
The full kitchen includes cutlery, cookware, bakeware, measuring utensils, and dinnerware.
Kitchen appliances include a fridge/freezer with an ice-maker, oven, stove, dishwasher, coffee-maker, microwave, toaster, mixer, and an electric tea kettle.
ENTERTAINMENT:
We have a TCL 50" 4K Smart TV with a Netflix Subscription for your movie night!
WORK SPACE:
The kitchen features a counter height barn-wood table, perfect for use as a desk if you are on a work trip.
Blazing fast, Fiber Internet is provided by MCTV. The internet easily handles video conferences and movie streaming.
COUNTRY SETTING:
Our farmhouse is located in the country on 3 acres, next to a woods. Our cleaning team follows a rigorous cleaning regimen after each stay to ensure your experience is top notch. Our house is treated bi-monthly for pest control, however, you may see an insect or a few during your stay. Hospitality is something we love, and we look forward to sharing The Oaks with you!

We knew we were staying in a farmhouse, but we didn’t realize it was tucked into the countryside of the largest Amish community. It was amazing to see all of the surrounding farms, quaint shops, and hear the clip-clop of horses on the roads. The farmhouse itself was cozy and inviting. We especially enjoyed the porch with the lights and fire pit. Most of our evenings were spent out there enjoying the beautiful view. The beds and couches were comfortable. The kitchen had all of the utensils and cookware that we needed to be able to cook meals. The grill on the porch was put to good use. The host was easy to reach when we had a couple of questions. I definitely recommend staying at this cozy and beautiful location. We would love to visit again!

We did not get in the hot tub, it was right out in the open with a road right behind it. Not private at all. The house was nice and the beds were comfy.

We had a wonderful time at this 1920s house/cabin. Beautifully updated to keep its rustic 1920s look. The hot tub was a bonus, and marketplace/dining was right up the road.. Would definitely recommend!
