Lovely apartment. Great location. Would stay again

I would stay there again. It was perfect for us and the good outweighed the simple inconveniences.

The property was in a great location. It was close to restaurants, grocery stores and not too far from the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica. The beds were comfortable, it had air conditioning, a washing machine, kitchen. Two bathrooms with showers. It was modernised and it had a fabulous terrace with garden furniture. It was in a lovely neighbourhood.

The hot water was a bit hit or miss. The WiFi went out on our last day and into the next day. The owner apologised and let us check out a bit later.

Lovely apartment, confirm the shower situation first if you can

This was such a nice property - it was large, well-lit, well-kept, and the private rooftop terrace was so pleasant. They have a washer in the kitchen with detergent, which was very useful. The location is great, it's a nice street with good shopping and right near the Vatican and the Ottaviano station. Bed was quite comfortable too.

The shower situation was miserable - supposedly they'd never had this problem before, but the water heated up for only one or two minutes before turning cold again. They tried to fix it but it didn't really change anything. The toilet also smelled like public toilets, as if it hadn't been cleaned properly in a while. Lastly, this is just a note that while the kitchen was well stocked in terms of utensils, there was no salt or pepper or kitchen towels, which limits the kitchen's convenience, or means you have to get your own.
