This property is in a great place with easy access to the canal side path. This means that it is only about 45 minutes to walk into inverness and much shorter to cycle. The canal path is great for walking and for cyclng. It is a large property with lots of space for upto 6 people.
The property has been renovated in the kitchen and bathroom to a good standard. The rest of the property outside and in could benefit from additional attention and the completion of painting work that have been begun but not completed. This Is a shame as it does detract from what is a great property.

Amazing location and our kids loved our daily walks along the Caladonian Canal. Very homey and cozy cottage with all the comforts of home. The washer and dryer were a huge plus and the kitchen had everything we needed for a few home cooked meals. Host was lovely and very communicative. Super easy check in/check out process. Close to the city center and some of the most beautiful nature we came across in the UK (our kids loved the Monkey Puzzle tree next door!). Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the canalside cottage. The owners were extremely thoughtful and available to answer our questions. The access to the cottage was easy, and there was a parking space right in front. The house itself was very comfortable, and we liked the terrace. We loved watching the boats go by on the canal. Also, all the amenities worked perfectly.
We would definitely stay there again!
the little road to access the cottage is a bit bumpy but it was alright! Also, please note that the toilet near the bedrooms isn't very intimate, because the door allows glimpses through and allows the sound through. It was okay because there is a second toilet in the bathroom (and people are only near the bedrooms at nighttime, so the rest of the time, it is still isolated).
