Regency Towers is an older facility that has undergone extensive renovations over the years. It is directly on the beach with 2 swimming pools-one heated, a Jacuzzi, exercise room, scheduled activities, and a poolside food bar with drinks and food items to suit most. It is very family friendly. The unit itself was a 2 bedroom/2 bath, with a king bed in master and 2 doubles in secondary bedroom.There are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. There was a broken floor fan in one bedroom. We purchased fans at Walmart. The secondary bedroom had a buffet instead of a dresser and the bottom of the only drawer had come apart from its sealing. There was no table on the balcony, just 3 chairs.The tub/shower lacked a grab bar and no anti-slip strips, making it dangerous for my 96 year old mother-in-law to shower. She opted to take sponge baths for our stay. Not sure if this is ADA compliant for rentals.Upon arrival it was noted that the icemaker wasn't working. When reported, the owner was quick to respond and supplied us with ice. A service man came out the following day, but would have to order part. Very good communication with owner.Overall rating 3 stars.

Host was very prompt to help us with only issue we had with door lock, we enjoyed the room and was way more relaxed on 2nd floor than previous years staying on floor 10+. Sad that the sandbar changed their menu and no more cheese fries or banana rum drinks and smaller portions the red solo cups was a vibe . Only negative of room was 4 towels combined for bathroom when we booked for 6 people .
