Fantastic we will be back

The facilities were modern and the gym equipment was new. The rooms were spacious and the staff were amazing especially Todd Claire and Dylan. All went above and beyond to help us

Schöner Aufenthalt

Gute Lage, schöne Poollandschaft. Freundliches Personal - zur Begrüßung gab es leckere Kekse. Das Frühstück war gut.

Kein freies w-LAN - einfach nicht zeitgemäß! Die Zimmer sind für Familie für wenige Nächte in Ordnung- aber eigentlich zu klein.

Consistently good

Have stayed here many times over the past 25 years. The standard of service is consistently excellent and the pool is the best in Darwin. Recent upgrades to the hotel room bathrooms and the swimming pool area have been thoughtfully and tastefully done.

Classy place smartly located between esplanade and city centre

Reception, restaurant and surroundings very fancy, clear and clean. Welcoming environment and very helpful staff. Easy parking + access to city centre. Excellent breakfast.

Room 516, corner lamp did not work + toilet paper roll holder loose but those are just comments allowing issues to be sorted.

Lovely hotel with awesome staff and service.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. The pool area was very pleasant. Staff were awesome. Always willing to help and very friendly.

TERRIBLE. RUINED OUR WEEKEND!!!

Our room was meant to be a sea view but was a view of a tree and room is VERY OUTDATED and DIRTY!! Won’t stay EVER AGAIN.

Generally very disappointed. Saw a notice that a renovation soon to be done - much needed!

The staff at reception were friendly and personable. The pool area and outdoor seating by the pool for drinks was good Location good

Oh dear - it was certainly not what we expected from a Hilton! The room was tired. The kettle/jug for hot water was like a $5 KMart special! the lid did not open so water had to be put through the spout - reported to reception but no action or replacement. Asked for wine glasses they didn't come. Although we were two in the room supplies (milk and hot choc) just for one - minimal. The bathroom needed an upgrade - rust marks in the bath! NO assistance offered with bags to and from the room. Asked for wine variety Pinot Noir was listed but told not had it for a couple of months. Food service at dinner was almost non existent so second night we went to Garden Hilton next door which was FABULOUS with better menu, food, wine and service.

Pleasant

Central position and clean.

Given a room right next to elevator, was advised it was an upgrade yo what we had asked for, what a joke. Room service absolutely hopeless, it took over an hour and a half for a toastie. Dining room delivered incorrect meals from what was ordered. Definitely slipped since we stayed there before. Will not be staying there again. Do not like that every night is a different price.

We would highly recommend Double Tree

The facilities were excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The pool was wonderful. It was very good to have laundering facilities. We were within walking distance of several attractions. We had a most enjoyable evening walk from the Wharf back to the hotel (approx 30 minutes).

The shaded area around the pool was limited. Instructions for using the washing machines were not very clear and I had to explain to a few other people how to use the app and pay. It would also have been helpful to include washing powder - even a vending machine containing small sachets of powder.

Good

Breakfast was great, lots of variety. Pool was a highlight. All service was great.

Shower super small, no fans in bathroom so it was always moist and hanging clothes never got dry, bathroom floor was never cleaned by housekeeping, more drawers to put clothes so you don’t have to live out of a suitcase would have been really nice. Clothes dryers do not work well - everything had to run twice.

My husband was unwell so they checked us in to a different room quickly.

Noisy kids unsupervised in the pool. Bathroom a bit tired.

Room numbering is a joke, why have odd numbered rooms at one end and even numbers at the other?

Pleasant

The location was central with a pool or ocean view.

The room was comfortable but the place needs painting and the bathroom had mould and flooded. The staff varied from uninterested to condescending. Some were helpful. Local knowledge was basic. More expected from a hotel with an old name in hotels. And then there was the double charging of the bills.

Superb

Nice rooms and toiletry products. Hotel is better inside than it looks from outside. Lovely pool area.

Our room as requested was quiet and away from the lifts, but was a very long distance away.

very over priced for old hotel.

Good location

Hotel is a very strange layout. our room was very basic and had the worst view I’ve ever had in my life. Staff didn’t tell me what floor we were on or how to get from parking to hotel room. I ended up in a whole different building and it took ages to finally find my room as the room numbers weren’t sequential. unfortunately I won’t ever stay here again.
