Summary:

Two-storey home in Lower Mitcham for groups up to 12, built for entertaining. Five bedrooms plus a sitting room with a king sofa bed that makes a sixth on request. Private pool, movie room with a 77" OLED, full bar, and an alfresco BBQ area seating 12. Fully airconditioned home and self check-in via keypad. About 15 minutes from central Adelaide and a short drive to Mitcham Square



The Space:

You enter into open-plan living, with the kitchen, an 8-seat dining table, and breakfast bar seating in one connected space. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, oven, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, and fridge.



Off the kitchen, the bar and sitting room looks over the pool. It has a fully stocked bar with cocktail and wine glasses, utensils, and a bar fridge.



The downstairs movie room has a 77" Sony Bravia 8 OLED and Bose surround sound. A separate upstairs lounge has a large sofa and a 65" Samsung Frame TV.



Upstairs holds four bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed, walk-in wardrobe, ceiling fan, and private ensuite with shower and toilet. Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 each have a queen bed, built-in wardrobes, and ceiling fans. The main bathroom upstairs has a shower, bathtub, and separate toilet.



Bedroom 5 is downstairs with a king bed that splits into two singles on request, plus split-system air conditioning. A downstairs sitting room has a king sofa bed that makes up a sixth sleeping space on request, giving the home six bedrooms when needed. Note both the king split and the sofa bed may not be available for last-minute bookings.



Outside, the pool area has two large shade umbrellas and a dedicated outdoor shower and toilet. The alfresco BBQ has a side burner, built-in chopping board, and temperature probes, with an extendable table seating up to 12.

Ducted air conditioning runs throughout upstairs; downstairs rooms have split-system units, except the sofa-bed room. The pool is not heated, and the spa is not heated and has no jets.



The home has 3.5 bathrooms in total: the master ensuite, the main bathroom, the outdoor pool toilet, and a downstairs half bath. Linen is onsite and the host will guide you on setup. Self check-in is via keypad. Free parking in the garage on site, though the garage itself is not part of the guest space. You'll receive a boarding pass before check-in and choose either a refundable damage deposit or a deposit waiver.



Travel cot and high chair available at request with a fee.

The Neighborhood:

Lower Mitcham is a quiet residential suburb about 7km southwest of central Adelaide. Mitcham Square Shopping Centre is roughly 1km north, a few minutes by car or about a 12-minute walk, with a supermarket, pharmacy, and specialty shops. The suburb suits families and groups who want space and a pool rather than nightlife on the doorstep. The cafes and shops along Belair Road are a short drive, and leafy reserves and walking trails run through the foothills nearby.



Getting Around:

A car is the easiest way to get around, with central Adelaide about 15 minutes' drive and Adelaide Airport roughly 20 minutes. Mitcham railway station is about 1km away on the Belair line, running direct into the city in around 15 minutes. Rideshare operates across the area. Free garage parking is on site.
