Breakfast on the deck in the sunshine overlooking the lake. Fresh ground coffee. Walks in the Cotswolds from the doorstep to South Cerney or Cerney Wick or Siddington or Cotswold Country Park & Beach, we had local knowledge of paths, but equally given by OS map/app. Plenty more walks to country pubs with a little research. Shopping trip into Cirencester including Black Jack St, Swan Yard and the craft market in the Corn Hall to name a few. There is plenty to do locally, especially water sports on the lakes. South Cerney fish and chips and all afore mentioned village pubs are recommended from our experiences.
