Amazing location, literally on the lake front at Thun. You can park alongside the hotel and there is a terrace downstairs with direct access to the lake, there is a board walk and ladders to get straight in. Beautiful views. Better than we expected for the price. Interior is dated but very very clean, and comfortable. Room had small TV but we did not use. Room had kettle and mini fridge. The views and location make up for the slightly dated interior. The downstairs terrace did pizza on select days and the bottom bar/terrace has an open kitchen which has different menu each day, well worth visiting! We ate there twice and it was fantastic, the barman (owner), was very kind and gave us some pointers on travelling through switzerland. :)

No aircon in the rooms however they did provide a fan which we were grateful for. The shower (is powerful which is great!) But the water gets extremely hot, my partner burnt himself whilst showering as he leant on the hot tap which spun very easily. Basically, be careful in the shower and i would not leave children alone, please watch them!

Das Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen, etwas schmuddelig. Es war ein heisser Tag, dementsprechend sehr warm im Zi, keine Fensterläden waren geschlossen, hätte die Hitze etwas gedämpft.
