Amazing views of St Lawrence! We loved our 3-day stay, the best lodging of our long east coast family roadtrip. We loved the main space and A-frame windows, huge deck, comfy beds, good hot water pressure, EV charger, well-equipped kitchen and large fridge & freezer. We appreciated the large washer and dryer. Short drives to Baie Saint Paul & Le Massif, and easy day/half-day trips to Mont/Canyon Sainte Anne, Chute Jean Larose, and Sepaq Parcs Hautes Gorges and Grands Jardins. We hope to return to La Grande Ourse in other seasons: winter skiing, fall colours, spring hiking...
Note: Our 3 hot sunny days of 30+C degrees outpaced the A/C in afternoons upstairs. But it didn't impact us: we were out all day, and it was cool enough upstairs at night to sleep.
We should have stayed longer! We'll be back again, so much to see and do and eat in Charlevoix.
