A lovely, spacious and comfortable house spread across four floors, with modern, tasteful décor throughout. The large, well-equipped kitchen-diner was perfect for our group, and the living room was equally spacious and comfortable. There are four generously sized bedrooms, with the master bedroom occupying the top floor and featuring an en-suite bathroom. The property also has two small outdoor seating areas.
Air conditioning is available in two of the bedrooms as well as the main living areas, and it worked very well throughout our stay.
The location is pleasant and relatively quiet for London. A Tesco Express with a petrol station is just a two-minute walk away, making it very convenient for groceries, and the nearest Tube station is only an 8–10 minute walk from the house.
The digital lock on the front door was a great feature, especially for our group of seven, as we all arrived at different times. It meant we didn't have to worry about sharing or keeping track of a key during our stay, and it made the check-in process quick, easy, and hassle-free.
Lack of parking space.
There were also a couple of issues during our stay.
The first was with the door handle in one of the bedrooms. It didn't work properly and caused the door to become stuck from the inside, leaving whoever was in the room trapped. This is a serious fire safety concern. Our 13-year-old daughter was staying in that room, and the first time it happened she was understandably very frightened.
The second issue was that the bed in another bedroom collapsed in the middle during our second night. It made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep for the couple staying there.
We reported both issues to the cleaning team when they arrived on the morning of our departure, so hopefully they can be addressed for future guests.

The apartment is in an excellant location within easy walking distance of the underground and lots of nice bars and restaurants. Communication with the hosts was good and they allowed us to drop bags in advance of the check in time . The lounge and kitchen are very spacious and there are two nice outdoor spaces for drinks and breakfast.
We stayed during a heatwave and were provided with four extra fans.

It was clean, centrally located and all the basics were well taken care off
The host did not confirm the early check-in requirements till last moment but now it’s understandable as host does not disturb guests with unnnecessary follow ups and we had a great time because of this

Es war genug Platz für alle. Recht zentral
Leider sehr enttäuschend. Für 700 € pro Nacht hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet.
Die Bilder wirkten sehr vielversprechend und waren auch der Grund für unsere schnelle Buchung. Bei der Ankunft verflog diese Euphorie jedoch sofort: Das Haus ist sichtbar in die Jahre gekommen. Wände waren nicht sauber, die Möbel deutlich abgenutzt und insbesondere der Eingangsbereich – eigentlich die Visitenkarte eines Hauses – war stark verschmutzt.
Auch die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr dürftig. Nicht einmal eine Flasche Wasser stand zur Verfügung, was bei der Ankunft mit vier Kindern besonders unangenehm war.
Das Haus sollte um 15:00 Uhr bezugsfertig sein, war es jedoch nicht. Stattdessen mussten wir 30–45 Minuten warten, da noch aufgeräumt wurde und überall Dinge herumstanden.
Besonders negativ und absolut inakzeptabel war jedoch folgende Erfahrung:
Unsere Tochter hatte bei der Abreise ihre nagelneuen AirPods im Haus vergessen. Etwa eine Stunde später kontaktierte ich den Vermieter. Er bestätigte schriftlich per WhatsApp, dass die AirPods gefunden wurden, und sagte zu, diese zu verschicken. Ich gab ihm meine Adresse sowie meinen FedEx‑Account, was er ebenfalls bestätigte.
Nach einer Woche fragte ich freundlich nach dem Versandstatus. Die einzige Antwort war lapidar:
„Sorry, wir haben die AirPods verloren.“
Dazu der Hinweis, er könne verstehen, dass ich nun frustriert sei. Ein derartiger Umgang ist für uns völlig unverständlich und bisher beispiellos.
1.400 € für zwei Nächte – nie wieder.
Dieses Verhalten ist nicht nur unprofessionell, sondern schlicht nicht akzeptabel.
Insgesamt entspricht die Unterkunft in keiner Weise dem Preisniveau, weder hinsichtlich Zustand noch Service oder Zuverlässigkeit des Vermieters. Wir würden nicht erneut buchen und können die Unterkunft in diesem Zustand leider nicht weiterempfehlen.
