About this apartment rental
This secluded getaway is in a stunning seafront location, with views from every room, over the islands of Loch Bracadale to the Cuillin Hills, Talisker cliffs and Rhum. The two kingsize bedrooms allow you lie back in luxury and comfort while watching the sunrise. The kitchen/ living room is double aspect with a floor to ceiling arch window and dining table situated so you can watch the abundance of wildlife, including dolphins, sea eagles, hare, deer and if you are lucky an otter or two. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all you need to cook up some scrumptious meals, the fridge is stocked with milk, butter, eggs and fruit and one of the cupboards has a range of herbs, spices, oil, pasta, sauce and cereal so that when you arrive you can just sit back, relax and take it all in. Upstairs there is a games room with a pool/snooker table and a range of board games. Although it is not overlooked, it is close enough to the main roads to allow easy access to the rest of the island.

We chose staying here during a five day portion of our Scotland trip on Isle of Skye in late May. We simply loved it! The house sits in the best spot for feeling private and secluded all within a jaw dropping landscape. It's a wonderful home with all the amenities one would need. Rosie is incredibly responsive and sweet along with her two cute dogs, Marley and Tessa. We loved the look of the surrounding garden (backyard) and landscape so much we planned our small wedding ceremony to be held there. It turned out great. The area is nice to quickly get to areas like Dunvegan, Neist Point, etc. along with being a good spot to call home for touring the majority of Skye. Don't hesitate for one minute, you'll love it here. Pics: there's a hike to McLeod's Maidens that was about 11 miles roundtrip, two pics are of that. It was moderately difficult, but well worth it. The B&W pic is from Brother's Point. The cow was right down the road on the way to the house. And the boys on the picnic bench and wedding pic was right outside the door.

A snug, thoughtfully provisioned cottage in a gorgeous, peaceful place. Rosie was great too: available if we wanted anything and neither seen nor heard otherwise. We’d recommend this home to anyone.

The comfort and cleanliness of the home cannot be overstated. It was perfect. However, the highlight here is the location and view. It is breathtaking. I became emotional when first seeing it..... And it's a private view, no other houses in sight. I'm disappointed we only had a couple days to stay. It is a bit remote, but worth the drive in. Also Rosie, the host, was friendly and helpful.
