Our second stay here. The house was as comfortable as ever. Everything we needed was included. The beds were comfy with nice bedlinens and the house clean and tidy. It was nice to be left a second set of keys and some umbrellas to use. The downstairs bedroom has had a mini makeover since our last stay and it really finishes the house off.

It waas very cozy and greatly decorated. It felt like being at home. Nice location but quiet at night. The dinning and seating room wonderful for family meals and conversations.
Not easy for elderly people as the stairs are hard for people with restricted mobility and you need to get on well with your family members as there is a lot of sharing space

We loved the location and the character of the cottage. The owner was helpful with a few queries we had.
The single beds were perfect for our group of 5 but the 2 upstairs rooms opening into each other via folding doors meant the shower room could only be accessed by going through the other bedroom. We think to say there are 3 bedrooms is a bit misleading.
We were also concerned that anyone less mobile would find the stairs a bit challenging without full handrails.

Excellent kitchen for cooking big meals for the family. The rangemaster is awesome and the kichen has a huge dining table with lots of crockery and glasses. Very well equipped.
The bathroom has unlimited water for hot baths and showers and lovely products for a luxurious soak. good towels and there is a washing machine /dryer which is very efficient to refresh everything.
The beds were hotel quality; however I'm in a 5 star London hotel now and the beds at the property were better.
The host, ,Digby, enhanced the experience over xmas by decorating and putting up a tree, xmas table runner, candles, hamper, small ornaments and touches which were very thoughtful.
Also the heating is really efficient and the style of the property is extremely homely, cosy and well curated.
We had the best family xmas and NewYear and thank you for that!!
