The location is good, it’s on a quiet neighborhood and you can walk 15min to the main beach and also near the bus station. This home is run by a good family, the owner Damith is very friendly and helpful. The highlight of all is their very cute dog — Rexy, such a superstar! ⭐️ Bohoma Isthuthi 😌
There are some insects in the room but there is also a mosquito net that protects the bed

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house in Mirissa. During my visit, I unfortunately had a bike accident, but the family hosting the guest house was incredibly helpful and supportive. They went out of their way to gather everything I needed from the city and provided special assistance whenever I required it. Their hospitality and kindness truly made a difficult situation much easier.
The guest house itself was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Their child speaks fluent English, which made communication effortless. Overall, I deeply appreciate the family’s care and support, especially during such a challenging time, and I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Mirissa.

An exceptional stay and unforgettable experience in Mirissa!
I highly recommend staying at Sanda Hiru Guest for anyone visiting Mirissa, Sri Lanka. The host family is incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, gave me great tips on how to explore around, and served a truly delicious breakfast. The best part was spending time with them, sharing stories and laughs—it honestly felt like home. A wonderful place with amazing hospitality! 10/10

Close to everything but down a little side lane making it quiet. A lovely family run home makes you a welcome addition. Food and drinks shared with music. Rooms are spotless and comfortable.
