We booked a 3 night stay as a family of 3 with a 7 year old. We aren't the biggest fans of standard hotel rooms, due to lack of space and being unable to cook our own meals. I have severe allergies and eating at restaurants always ruins my time when travelling. We expressed our interest in booking, and we received a response the next day, confirming our stay. We wanted to take our son to Canada's Wonderland. It was about a 40 minute drive. This place is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to grocery stores. We parked in the driveway, walked through the side gate and used a code to gain access from the side door. We walked downstairs into a spacious dwelling for our small family. It has a dine-in kitchen, sofa and TV living room area, a hallway leading to several closets for storage, laundry facilities that we were able to use, and the bathroom with a double sink vanity and stand-up shower. Above the dwelling lives a family with other children, that were very accommodating, leaving several toys for my son to play with, and letting him run around the backyard. They came out to greet us, played along with my son, who was close in age, and allowed him to jump on the trampoline. Cooking was a breeze, there was lots of cupboard space, a fridge/freezer, basic spices, dishwasher, sink, dish soap and sponges, plates, cutlery, pots and pans, and an air-fryer oven. The bedroom has 2 good size beds, a small fan, and the a/c vent directly above the bed, keeping it nice and cool. Nearby is a nature hike trail with a giant fountain, boardwalk, suspension bridge overlooking a waterfall, and an area at the bottom where you can walk upstream called Belfountain Conservation. It is paid entry, can be done in an hour or two, but is a beautiful area. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.
