I absolutely loved the room. Even with a busy bar, we barely heard any noise, and we were right by the front door. It was super easy to get in. We loved how close we were to everything. The room was beautiful. I loved all the details. The bed was comfy, and the AC worked beautifully.

The location was great for walking around downtown Macon. It was close to restaurants, shops and a theater. The room was in an historic building where the character remained but the bathroom was nicely updated.
The alley entrance to the parking was a little confusing and stopping in the alley to get the parking pass from the room was crowded with multiple vehicles stopped at the same time. Our room was right next to the entrance so we heard the lockbox when anyone entered throughout the night. Also, it would have been nice to check in before 4pm.

The room was so tastefully decorated with extremely high ceilings, and the beds were very comfortable. Our room faced the street, but we had zero noise and exceptional blackout curtains. Parking was easy and close by. I had not been to Macon in 40 years and I enjoyed walking around town.. It's so charming!
