The rooms are all large, including the lovely bathroom. The pub is nicely presented, good food and the staff were all friendly
Our only disappointment was that there was no breakfast available on Monday and Tuesdays - the ad on Booking. Com shows breakfast available but this isn’t the case every day! The Walnut Tree own website makes this clear.

Very clean , beautifully finished rooms and bathroom.

When searching for accommodation for work , I usually prioritise features such as breakfast included, and parking. Very disappointed after making booking to be told by tge property that they were not open on Monday / Tuesday, therefore no restaurant or breakfast available . I checked and there was no mention of this on the hotel booking. I only saw the message on the morning of our stay , so too late to cancel. At the very least I expect a refund on the cost of our breakfast in a cafe 2 miles away….
