Great place to stay, super comfortable and quiet room, staff excellent in every way, when I come back to the GBDR I will stay there for a few days.

The location, the room, the layout of the restaurant and bar with outside seating areas and a Saturday barbecue overlooking the stream at the end of the garden area. Staff were superb.
It was busy all day with people ending up becoming loud and rather intoxicated, with the usual bad language as the evening wore on, so we went to bed early. Thankfully we weren’t overlooking the garden so room was quiet and we got some sleep.

poor
as there was limited hotel rooms, it surely would of been easy to at least give us some option of food , instead of being told we couldn't order from the restaurant or even the bar, so we had to walk into the village and find dinner .
shame as the actual hotel and room was very nice as for 4 in the bed, winners maybe invest in feeding your guests better
$$$$
