We have just returned from Warwick where we stayed in the Cosy 2 bedroom home. We were two people in this spacious house. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen - an amazing space here to cook your own meals if you want to. I took some of my own pots with me as it’s normally awful pots in accommodation. I needn’t have bothered. The pots were all nonstick. Which is a big thing for me as I don’t need to scrub, at them. Trays in the oven too. Plenty of plates, bowls, mugs and glasses. A large fridge freezer. Tea, coffee, sugar and a coffee machine to make a capuchino. Washing up liquid, tea towel and oven gloves. Lounge - Two sofas a TV and lamps which did make it cozy. There was even blankets to wrap around yourself if you were a bit chilly but not wanting to put the heating on. The house was not cold at all in the 4 days and nights we were there. Bedrooms - both very spacious, one with a wardrobe to hang your clothes. One double bed and 2 single beds. We slept in the single beds as the double bed was too low for us oldies to get out of. The single beds were very comfortable. Bathroom - the option was there to use the bath, the shower had good pressure making it a great shower. There was toiletries for your use also. Car Parking - not on the main street thankfully and car was safe around the back and it was a well lit area in the evening. Location - you could not choose a better place to stay as this was so central to everything. There is a wee shop two minutes walk if you wanted anything quickly and it was very reasonably priced. Sainsbury’s was a 10 min walk or 5 minute drive. The town where there is plenty of choices to eat out is less than 5 minutes walk. Lots of shops to amble around. The castle, is about 15 minutes stroll, the river at St Nicks Park is beautiful. Treat yourself to a wee boat and paddle up the river so far. Just awesome with the castle in view.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Great location for travelling around area and near Warwick Castle. Plenty of space inside house with car parking close at hand.

Good size for a family of four and a great location

Problems with parking on arrival however the nice man at the Featherstone Arms let us park .No tea towels and not enough cutlery for 4 people this was addressed the next day .

The location in relation to Warwick Castle,which was the reason for our visit to Warwick.

The property was very in need of a coat of paint internally and a very thorough clean, most of the paintwork was very dirty. The staircase banisters,newel posts were positively sticky and dirty. The furnishings were very worn especially one of the settees, the double bed mattress was very uncomfortable, the wooden slat base could be felt as though there wasn’t a mattress. The fridge freezer didn’t have cupboard fronts,the cutlery was the cheapest type and there wasn’t enough for the capacity of four people. The garden area was a mess and not conducive to sitting outside. The bathroom was very substandard, sinks didn’t drain, plastic pipes were thick with dust and dirty. The double bedroom bedside lamp wasn’t able to be used as the lead wouldn’t reach a plug socket The dresser was rickety and filthy, not safe as the drawer couldn’t be opened without the dresser starts tip.
