This was our first visit to the cottage and to Skipton as we are looking for potential places to live. The communication before arrival was great and it was easy to get the key. The cottage was lovely and spotlessly clean. Lots of extras like the hamper were lovely. The bed was very comfortable and we slept quite well. It’s a short walk into town with lots of pubs and cafes and it’s a short walk to the castle. There is a small bakers at the end of the path called walkers that does lovely food and the best strawberry tart I’ve ever tasted. The view out the cottage window of the brook and canal is lovely. It’s a very quiet location. We enjoyed our stay and the host was very nice about a little mishap I had. I would recommend
My husband struggled a little with the smellies in the cottage as he has asthma. We struggled to figure out the heating and the radiators need bleeding but these are all easily rectifiable things and it wouldn’t stop us returning

It was very cosy and clean. Great location on a quiet side road. Kitchen was great - just a lovely place!
