Our family had a truly enjoyable 12-day stay at this clean, tranquil apartment next to the harbour! The breezy riverside location combined with the apartment's thoughtful layout made it perfect for our extended stay. The check-in/out process couldn't have been easier - we simply picked up and returned the key at a nearby 24-hour convenience store. The area offers the best of both worlds: peaceful riverside relaxation while still being just steps from supermarkets, restaurants, and fantastic transport links by both boat and train. We especially loved spending evenings on the patio enjoying the pleasant view and river breeze. The apartment was well-equipped for our needs. The kitchen had everything required for home cooking, and we appreciated the complete set of cleaning tools provided. The host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable - when we mentioned our kids were too big for the second bedroom's bed, they kindly prepared an extra bed on the sofa without hesitation. They were consistently responsive and helpful throughout our stay, quickly addressing all our questions after we resolved an initial minor misunderstanding. A few practical notes for future guests: 1. The apartment is near train tracks (this didn't bother us as the apartment is well soundproofed, but light sleepers might appreciate earplugs) 2. A nice laundromat is provided but there's no laundry dryer (all clothes were hang-dried after washing - something to plan for on longer stays) 3. The faucets and main shower require a little practice to operate smoothly - water temperature and pressure adjustments were tricky at first These were minor considerations in what was otherwise a perfect riverside retreat. The combination of easy self-check-in, complete amenities, and the host's exceptional hospitality made this an ideal choice for our family getaway. We can't wait to come back!
