The whole setup of the accommodation is very nice and comfortable. It is perfectly located on the edge of the village. Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. The showers are great, comfortable bedrooms and downstairs a nice kitchen and relaxation area. Private parking just outside the door. Private patio in the back. What more could you want.
The location is in a small village that does not offer any facilities. We were looking for exactly that so we found it great, but you have to realize you have to drive for groceries or pubs and restaurants. There are plenty quite close by though.

Jo and Colin are amazing hosts. They were always available to answer our questions, suggesting places to go for a hike or where to take our dog for a walk. The location is beautiful and the accommodation is cozy and very well equipped. Our kid loved the company of the horses and the sheep! There are plenty to places to explore nearby. We would definitely like to be back one day.

We had a wonderful stay at Willow Tree Barn in Brigsteer. The location is perfect – peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet ideally placed for exploring both the Lake District and the nearby coast.
The barn was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had a lovely, comfortable interior that made it feel like a real home from home. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather, so we made the most of the outdoor seating areas, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Jo was a friendly and welcoming host, always helpful and happy to offer local recommendations. We'd also highly recommend a visit to Levens Hall in the next village – the gardens and house are well worth seeing.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Willow Tree Barn to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.
