We had a unique purpose for this stay at BalikBalik Villa. My spouse of 10 years, Simon—who passed away last September 2025 at the age of 38—always wanted to live near Nacpan Beach. We booked this villa while he was still alive, and even if he is no longer with me, I continued the trip as a tribute to him. This accommodation represents our inspiration for the dream home we hoped to build here in Nacpan someday. It is a very special place.
Momc and I had an amazing stay at BalikBalik Villa for 6 days and 5 nights. The interior of the house is well-built, with intentional details that maximize the space. There are two spacious rooms with air-conditioning, and the living room has its own air-conditioning as well. Momc loved the bar/kitchen area where she was able to prepare home-cooked meals. There is also a second-floor hangout area, which we used as our breakfast spot every morning.
Hot water is available, and the water pressure is great. The WiFi is very reliable. Solar power is also provided, so there’s no need to worry about power outages, which are common in the El Nido area. The villa is only a few minutes’ drive to Nacpan Beach.
They offer free pick-up and drop-off to the airport, and you can also arrange transportation services for getting around. There is a sari-sari store beside the property, which is convenient if you need to buy supplies. As local tourists, we enjoyed picking leafy green vegetables near the property, and they even helped us pick fresh papaya, which we used to prepare home-cooked dishes. They also checked if we needed anything for cooking, and we were even able to buy fresh crabs from a roaming local vendor.
The family who takes care of the house are very accommodating - thank you to all of you. Until next time!

I stayed in this place for 18 days, and I definitely have something to say 😊
So, here are the five main advantages:
- A private Starlink and solar panels
- A new house that’s simply pleasant to be in
- Fully equipped home (no cheap disposable dishes, no synthetic bed linens or towels – everything is of exceptional quality)
- Two full-fledged workspaces with proper desks and chairs
Only 4 minutes by scooter to the nearest beach – the beautiful Nacpan Beach
What else I liked:
- A spacious living room with a huge TV and subwoofer
- A kitchen that’s every cook’s dream (great plates, ceramic pans, and fully stocked with everything you need – a large fridge, rice cooker, microwave, blender)
- The bedroom – a great mattress, clean and pleasantly scented linens and towels
- The area around the house is clean and well-maintained, and from the second floor, you can watch the sunset
A big bonus – the friendly hosts who are always ready to help in any situation (with transfers, scooter rental, water delivery, laundry, etc.)

Die Villa eignet sich hervorragend für Ruhesuchende. Man blickt in die weite, grüne Natur. Es ist auch ein kleiner Garten mit einer kleinen Terrasse vorhanden. Oben auf dem Dach befindet sich eine sehr große Terrasse, auf der man die Aussicht genießen kann.
Die Vermieter sind außerordentlich freundlich und sehr sehr bemüht, dass es dem Gast gut geht. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt.
Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Ich habe hervorragend geschlafen.
Wir haben einen Roller bestellt und diesen direkt vor die Tür geliefert bekommen. Der Roller war fast neu, der Helm auch.
Am Tag der Abreise bin ich kostenlos zum Flughafen gefahren worden. So sehr herzliche Vermieter… es hat mich sehr berührt. Ich würde diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank nochmal an euch als BalikBalik-Team ❤️
