Perfect for our short stay with everything we needed and more.

Some road noise was expected but the thoughtfully provided ear plugs were very helpful.

Yes it’s close to the noisy A1 (which is clearly mentioned when booking) but we wanted quick access to the A1 to get to Burghley House. So it was perfect for us!

The property was very nice and very comfortable. Victoria and James were great hosts, they even left us some cake, milk, butter, juice and chilled water. There are a load of things in the property to make your stay easier which included tea bags coffee sugar etc.

The only problem which has nothing to do with the hosts or the property is the location which is close to the A1M and if you’re a light sleeper the noise may affect your night’s sleep.
