Spacious, well equipped property in great location. Good communication from host.
With a school opposite, the property would have benefited from Venetian blinds or shutters to give privacy. More thorough cleaning of bathroom necessary to remove mould from shower hose and enclosure. Very uncomfortable sofa in living room.

Beautiful property in a quiet location. We used it as a base for day trips to Edinburgh for the festival and Dundee for the gallery and the stunning Tay estuary. And Haddington itself is lovely, including the longest church in Scotland, apparently.
It was pricey but worth it. I really can’t think of anything.

The rooms were fine but equipment strange. provision of tea, coffee, sugar, herbs etc. was appreciated
The host arrived without the key and we had to wait 15 minutes for her to go and get it to let us in. There were 14 cereal bowls but no pyrex dish or similar to use in the microwave or oven. The shower outflow was blocked and it overflowed over the floor and into the hall. Someone must have entered the flat whilst we were away and left the emergency exit door open which would allow anyone from the adjoining flat to come into ours, which is unacceptable.
