It was a cosy comfortable cottage. It is part of a courtyard with a few other rentals. There was a pub and shop in walking distance. Exploring the farm was enjoyable and there was a lovely sitting area near a small lake. If you like animals there are cows, sheep, dogs and cats.
There's an indoor pool which we didn't use, but could see it looked a good facility.
We would have prefer blackout curtains in the bedroom as the light woke us early and it was underfloor heating which was a little too warm for us.
Do take tea/coffee and milk if you want a hot drink once you arrive. Some self catering has some basic provisions like cooking oil. There were no kitchen provisions apart from salt and pepper, so you might want to bring some items.
Overall it was a lovely place and we would recommend it.

Warm and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Bed very comfortable. Nice modern bathroom. Smart tv. Easy parking close by and fantastic surroundings- lambs were a big highlight.
Shame we had to pay to do washing. Property not huge but we did have a lot of luggage.

Superb location and superb accommodation! Property was very clean and everything you needed was there, lovely walks around the farm itself and surrounding area. Swimming pool was immaculate and the water was lovely and warm. We were very impressed with everything, so much infact that we are looking to return next year.
